PMT Linie Kolejowe Sp. z o.o. is a member of the Capital Group KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. Established in 2008, the company operates as a railway infrastructure administrator based on a safety authorisation.
Its core business areas include:

making railway lines managed by the company available to other entities
construction and repairs of railway infrastructure and equipment
construction and repairs of railway tracks and civil engineering structures.

The infrastructure managed by the company consists of 170 km of tracks, including about 70 km of railway lines, 100 km of sidetrack, 380 turnouts, 40 railway crossings and 74 civil engineering structures. The company has been undertaking initiatives to maintain a high level of safety and improve the operating parameters of its railway infrastructure. In 2020, a programme for the modernisation of railway line no. 971 was launched under which the Local Control Centre will be built to control traffic along the whole length of the line. The modernisation works will also increase the operating parameters to the extent of the admissible axle load up to 221 [kN].
